Years ago growing up in rural Laporte County, Indiana, I would have never dreamed life would take me on such a winding and twisting journey that would ultimately lead to the creation of my pioneering work, The Ladder UPP. After graduating from Laporte High School, I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and then was commissioned an officer in the US Marine Corps.
While a US Marine, I was in a tragic jet crash that broke my back and killed my co-pilot. This horrible event and the complications that followed left me a shell of a man and I descended into the hell of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD. My life fell apart and on the day I was discharged I hit the road on the back of a motorcycle to look for a new beginning.
Since that journey began, I’ve published an internationally distributed outdoors magazine, Bearfoot Magazine-Journal of Northern California Outdoors, started a successful advertising and marketing business, Silouan Green, LLC. and created the life skills tool, The Ladder UPP, based upon my own recovery from severe PTSD and depression.
Helping people realize their dreams and transform their lives is my mission. I’ve developed a system for those wanting to live better and follow their dreams that I call The Ladder UPP. I’ve been giving lectures, performances and concerts with it for over seven years. I pray you find some motivation and may God bless your journey.
